Sight Program - FREE to residents
An ongoing free program for the residents of Copperton to provide aids for the sight impaired. If you have been diagnosed with Macular Degeneration of the retina or any other eye disease that causes partial blindness, and can be helped by magnification to see better, an aid may be able to be provided to you.

Education Savings Plan
This program is designed to award teens for achieving good grades from 7th through 12th grades. The program is for both Public and Private School students. Home school students will not be eligible. Students must live within the 84006 zip code.
To qualify for the award, a student must have earned quarter grades of 3.5 GPA or higher.
Students will be awarded a certificate from the Copperton Community Council and their names will be published in the Copperton News and on this web site.
Students will need to provide the Lions Club Education Committee with a copy of their Report Card. Report Cards later than 2 quarters are not eligible.
Funds for grades are deposited in a fixed interest bearing account with the Jordan Education Foundation.
Funds are to be used for post High School education only. The student has until the age of 25 to start using the funds, and until age 30 to use all funds.
For students who move out of town, the funds will still be eligible to use for post High School education.
Any funds left after the age limits of use will be forfeited back to the Bingham Canyon Lions club.
